It is great to spam so Protea’s passive ability kicks in. Blaze Artillery- This ability gives Protea a quick turret that does good damage at lower levels and not-so-good damage at higher levels.The overshield buff is almost as good as Harrow’s. The second mode is a shield buff or overshield. Again, sometimes will throw these grenades out just to get the second mode buffed up with her passive. It is good for a quick crowd control, but the damage over time is not worth the cast. The first mode is a stun grenade that is horrible at higher levels. Grenade Fan- This has two modes to it.I found myself spamming her second ability just to get the buff for my shields. This is amazing when you want to get a huge shield buff from her first ability, Grenade Fan.

Passive- Every fourth ability cast grants +100% ability strength.

The best part about Protea is her passive ability and her first ability. Even though she is a ton of fun to play, she is not a warframe I would take into a higher level mission. Her abilities tend to have a steep fall-off the higher the level the enemies are. Right now, Protea needs a buff to get on par with most of the warfames in the game. Overall, it wasn’t a bad quest line, just a forgettable one. The rest of the quest leading up to the final fight with Protea had amazing voice acting and the story was great, but it all seemed to be a tutorial for the new game mode and the Corpus ship rework. I spent most of my time waiting for the right moment to strike Protea to stop her from rewinding time.

The quest itself was very short and ended with a fight that did not have any great moments to it. Now, if I compared it to The Glass Gambit (Gara warframe quest), I would say it was about equal to the quest line. Comparing Deadlock Protocol quest to Chains of Harrow or The Sacrifice, I would say the quest was a bit of a let down and felt extremely short. The Deadlock Protocol quest was the first quest since The Chains of Harrow to introduce a totally new warframe ( The Sacrifice and Excalibur Umbra does not count). *Minor Quest Spoilers!
